Emerald Racing Review

Editorial policy

Emerald Racing Review aims to make horse racing easier to understand through careful, readable explanations. Accuracy, transparent boundaries and clear distinctions between editorial and commercial material guide our work.

Accuracy and sourcing

We check factual claims against reliable material appropriate to the subject and use precise wording where accounts or interpretations differ. Articles should make clear what is known, what is a matter of interpretation and where an explanation has limits. We do not present opinion as fact or offer betting advice.

Independence and commercial material

Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Sponsored articles, paid placements and partner material are labelled clearly wherever they appear; payment does not guarantee favourable editorial treatment or a particular conclusion.

Corrections

If you believe a story contains an error, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.

Images and illustrations

Images are selected to support the subject and should not imply an event or detail that they do not depict. Some illustrations are AI-generated and are identified as such where used; they are illustrative, not documentary evidence.
